Following on from yesterday’s news of  Tom Hardy in full Bane gear shooting scenes on the streets of Pittsburgh, more spy photo’s from the shoot have emerged today, thanks to the Daily Mail- only these ones are far more action oriented.

Christian Bale appeared on location today in his Batman outfit for an action packed fight scene with the back breaking villain. The fight scene seems to taking place outside of the prison that Hardy was filmed in front of yesterday.  With all the extras dressed as inmates and cops on set getting a piece of the action too, these photos seem to corroborate the online rumours of Bane staging a prison break. The character did the same thing in the Knightfall comic series in an effort to tire out Batman before breaking his back. The previous photos of Bane ripping up a Harvey Dent picture in front of a crowd whilst standing on top of the batmobile may even suggest that he defeats Batman in this scene and then goes on to make a speech to the citizens of Gotham that he’s the new boss in town. Or is that speech a catalyst for Batman to appear and engage in battle? For now this is all just speculation.

This is our first look at Bale in costume, apart from a brief snippet in the trailer. Judging by these photos it looks as if it’s the same costume from The Dark Knight, there are no notable differences to the costume. In the comics Bane is a hulking character who tower’s over the caped crusader, yet in these images they are both the same height (once you factor in Batman’s pointy ears), will this remain in the finished film or will they take advantage fo CGI or in camera trickery to make Bane look much bigger and stronger than this? Maybe he hasn’t been pumped with his Venom serum yet?

These are by far some the most impressive spy photos ever taken during a movvie shoot. Put a filter on these shots and you could easily pass them off as official production stills. The amount of extras on set make it look like this may one of the biggest fight scenes in the series.  From the trailer we saw a tiny clip of a showdown between Batman and Bane at night, so it looks like we’re being treated to at least two awesome battles with the characters. The fake snow is worth noting. It’s pretty reminiscent to Batman Returns which aslo had a winter setting. The amount of extras on set make it look like this may one of the biggest fight scenes in the series.
